DESCRIPTION:Jungle Bob’s Exotic Reptile Show SOLD OUT\nSaturday\, June 22\, 2024 | 9:30-10:30 AM \nElementary\, Middle School\, Adults Education (Ages 5+) \nCost: \n$10 per child (5-18 years old)\n$15 per adult (18+ years old) \n \n  \nAbout the Show\nJungle Bob brings the wonders of nature to life with a LIVE animal show featuring some of the world’s “unloved\, unusual\, and unknown.” Expect to encounter amazing reptiles\, amphibians\, and invertebrates! Jungle Bob\, Long Island’s own adventurer and veteran traveler\, has explored tropical rainforests over 4 dozen times. Adults and kids alike are treated to an interactive program getting up close and personal with awesome animals. \nWeaving stories of his travels Jungle Bob dispels some of the myths surrounding some of nature’s least understood creatures\, educating while entertaining crowds of all ages. This event is family-friendly. However\, information is best suited for kids at an elementary level. \n  \nOutcomes\n● Meet a variety of creatures including reptiles\, amphibians\, and invertebrates. \n● Understand the role they play in the environment and why they matter. \n● Learn ways to encourage biodiversity in your local environment or garden. \n  \n*Fees cannot be refunded for participant cancellation or any other reason. In the event of extreme weather\, class location may be moved indoors or a weather-related make-up date will be held for no additional cost to the registrant. \n**Transactions will be processed through the Natural Heritage Trust as a donation on behalf of Bayard Cutting Arboretum.

DESCRIPTION:Manor House Attic Tours\nEvery Friday and Saturday \n2:00 PM \nAdults – $10 \nChildren (10-12 years old) – $5 \n  \nEnjoy a guided 30-minute tour through the Westbrook Manor House attic. Hear about the history and architectural details of the Cutting’s summer home. Tour the various spaces in the attic including servant’s rooms\, nursery\, closets (yew and cedar)\, original wallpaper in some bedrooms\, and striking large beams and structure of the house. Enjoy the spectacular view of the grounds.
