DESCRIPTION:Creative Cartography: Winter Break Program\nSaturday\, February 21\, 2026  |  9:30 AM- 1:30 PM \nAges 10-14 \n  \nCost: $30 per participant \nENROLL IN Creative Cartography HERE \n  \n  \nUnplug and unwind this winter break by turning your real life into an adventure. In this workshop\, students will learn how to create their own fantasy world inspired by Bayard \nCutting Arboretum. Students can expect to create a 9×12” map\, an original character design\, and have many tales to tell about the journey of creating that world. Topics of discussion include: Cartography (the study of map-making)\, Dendrology (the study of trees)\, and Mythology (the study of myths and legends). \nThis program is best intended for ages 10-14 and is a drop-off\, optional program. Students are asked to bring a bagged lunch and dress appropriately for the weather as there are both indoor and outdoor portions to the workshop. \n  \n\n1.
