DESCRIPTION:The Key to See: Intro to Tree ID\nAges 16+ \nSaturday\, April 4\, 2026  |  10:00 AM- 12:30 PM \n  \nCost: $65 per participant \nENROLL IN The Key to See HERE \n  \nAbout this Workshop\nLearning the necessary skills to identify trees in the landscape can deepen your understanding and appreciation of the natural world. This class will include a lecture component tackling the key identification features of coniferous trees\, followed by an outdoor walk where students can test their knowledge in the field using different methods to identify some major trees in the arboretum’s landscape. This is an introductory class. Participants should dress appropriately for the outdoor component. This event is rain or shine. \n  \nAbout the Instructor\nJenna Zier is the Formal Garden Curator at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. She holds an MPS from the School of Integrative Plant Science at Cornell University and is an ISA Certified Arborist. \n  \n\n1.
