DESCRIPTION:The Art & Science of Pruning with Jenna Zier\nSaturday\, October 25\, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM \nAdults (Ages 15+) \nCost: $65 per person \nENROLL IN ART & SCIENCE OF PRUNING WORKSHOP \n  \nAbout the Workshop\nMaster pruning not only requires an understanding of how\, why\, and when to make the proper cuts\, it involves the creative reasoning to implement those decisions in the landscape. \nThis workshop includes an indoor presentation on the subject followed by an outdoor lesson in which participants will have the opportunity to prune under Jenna’s guidance. All plant material will be discussed but the focus of the workshop is on woody shrubs. Participants should dress appropriately for working outdoors. This event is rain or shine. \nJenna Zier is the Formal Garden Curator at Bayard Cutting Arboretum . She holds a MPS in Plant Science from Cornell University and is an ISA Certified Arborist . \n  \n\n1.
