DESCRIPTION:First Day Hike: Guided New Year’s Tour\nThursday\, January 1\, 2026  |  10:00 – 11:30 AM \nAges 5+ \n  \nCost: Free\, Registration is required \nJoin the First Day Hike Here\n  \nAbout the First Day Hike\nWith a new year comes new views on the horizon. Take a stroll through the Arboretum with us on New Year’s Day! We will hike along the River Walk\, enjoying views of the Connetquot River and keeping our eyes out for wildlife. We’ll also tour the Pinetums and discuss the beauty & diversity of our conifer collections. We’ll be walking 1.5 miles on a mix of paved and unpaved paths through gentle terrain. \nParticipants should wear sturdy shoes\, dress in layers\, and bring plenty of water. \n  \n\n1.
