DESCRIPTION:Scouting America: Soil and Water Conservation\nSaturday\, June 6\, 2026 | 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM \nAges 11-17 \n  \nCost: $30 per person \n  \nEnroll in Soil & Water Conservation Here \n  \nAbout the Workshop\nBayard Cutting Arboretum welcomes Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) to complete the requirements needed to earn their Soil & Water Conservation Merit Badge. \nScouts will explore topics such as erosion\, watersheds\, aquifers\, water pollution\, and water treatment. They will also learn about the importance of plants in soil and water conservation. \nScouts are asked to wear Class B attire\, bring a bagged lunch\, a field journal\, a pen\, and a blue card signed by their Scoutmaster. It is also recommended that Scouts review requirements 1\, 2a-c\, 5a\, and 6a-c ahead of the program as to contribute to our discussion. \n  \n\n\nParking fees may apply; visit our Hours page for details.\n Transactions will be processed through the Natural Heritage Trust\, fees cannot be refunded for participant cancellation.\nFor additional questions\, contact our Education Coordinator\, K.T.
