Welcome to the BCA Education Program!

The BCA Education Program offers classes and workshops for both children and adults! The links listed below provide online registration for classes and workshops. When registering, be sure to choose the correct date, time, and age group for you or your child. Please visit our Events Calendar, or read below, for details for new and upcoming events.

Farm school will begin on April 20, 2023 on Thursdays from 10AM – 11AM and 12PM – 1PM. Our spring program will run until June 8, 2023. This series is for preschool-aged children (ages 2-5.)

Farm School classes are designed to introduce children to the importance of the how, what, why, where, and when of growing fruit, flowers, and vegetables. Children will learn about a variety of topics such as how to plan and plant a garden, upcycle and reuse materials, make compost, create art using natural materials, and more!

We have extended our workshops to incorporate additional horticultural interests. Monthly workshops will be offered for both children and adults! Please visit our calendar for details.

Attention Teachers!

We welcome our teachers and students back for Friday Field Trips beginning in March 2023. Please contact Liz Herrick at Elizabeth.Valdini@parks.ny.gov to register your group.
