DESCRIPTION:The Art of Acrylics: Seasonal Scenes\nWednesday\, October 1\, 2025 \nWednesday\, October 8\, 2025 \nWednesday\, October 15\, 2025 \nWednesday\, October 22\, 2025 \nWednesday\, October 29\, 2025 \n  \n9:30 AM – 12:00 PM \n  \nAll Skill Levels \nCost: $225 for the entire series \n \nENROLL IN THE ART OF ACRYLIC WORKSHOP HERE \n  \nAbout the Workshop\nIn this 5-week series\, students will learn fundamental acrylic painting skills\, including color-mixing\, blending\, layering\, creating depth\, and texture. There will be step-by-step instructions as well as individual guidance. Reference images from our photography library feature the unique landscapes found at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. \nK.T. Williamson has been a practicing acrylic painter and instructor since 2016 and will guide the class through his unique step-by-step process. Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. All skill levels are welcome! \n  \nSupply List\nThe following supplies are recommended. If you have supplies that you are comfortable working with\, you may bring those. The instructor will introduce and review supplies on day one of the workshop. Recommended stores include Michael’s\, Blick Art Materials\, Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff\, and Jerry’s Artarama.  \nBasic Supplies:  \n\n9×12” Canvas (set of five) \n\nCan be stretched\, panels or sheets of any brand\n\n\n\n\nAssorted Acrylic Paint Brushes \n\nRecommended Brands: Royal & Langnickel: White Taklon or synthetic brands\nRound brushes (sizes 2\, 6\, and 10)\n Flat brushes (1/2“ and 1”)\nFine detail brushes\n\n\n\n\nAcrylic Paint \n\nRecommended Brands: Liquitex Basics\, Windsor Newton\, or Golden\n\nUltramarine Blue\, Quinacridone Magenta\, Cadmium Yellow (Light Hue)\, Mars Black\, Titanium White\, Raw Umber. She has exhibited and won awards in various shows across Long Island. She is a Signature member of Pennsylvania\, Philadelphia\, Northeast\, and Rhode Island Watercolor Societies. \nStudents will learn basic skills in watercolor. This will include learning techniques to create washes\, mix colors\, and handle various tools to create different effects. These techniques will be applied to creating trees\, leaves\, flowers\, and foliage. Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop\, please see the supply list for details. All skill levels are welcome! \n  \nSupply List\nThe following supplies are recommended. If you have supplies that you are currently comfortable working with\, you may bring those. The instructor will introduce and review supplies on day one.
