These include\, yet are not limited to: soups\, salads\, sandwiches\, entrees\, and of course\, dessert. \nIn this program\, caregivers can expect their children to practice newly emerging motor skills\, develop social skills through both imaginative and cooperative play\, and foster a deeper sense of connection to nature and the materials it provides. \nThis class is best intended for ages 2-5. Our project this year will be removing invasive species and spreading mulch around the base of our historic Oak and Beech trees. \nThe event will be held in light rain or winds and canceled in severe weather. A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 AM\, and projects will begin at 10:00 AM. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. \nVolunteers Dress Code\n\nMust wear closed-toe shoes.\nLong pants are recommended.\nRaingear/protection is not provided in case of inclement weather.\nWe will provide work gloves; you may bring your own pair if you would like to.\nDress appropriately for the weather and temperature.

After viewing a fun 3-minute video on the topic of identifying various coniferous evergreens\, cuttings of trees will be discussed for their characteristics and their place on the Pinaceae family tree. Students will be able to examine specimens of these trees for needle size\, shape\, and placement\, as well as the structure and placement of its cone. DESCRIPTION:Plant Your Plot: Spring Break Program\nAges 10-14 \nSaturday\, April 11\, 2026  |  9:30 AM- 12:30 PM \n  \nCost: $25 per participant \nENROLL IN Plan Your Plot HERE \n  \nAbout this Workshop\nArt imitates life\, and so do video games! Many popular video games utilize gardening and farming as a component of gameplay. In this program\, we will disconnect from the digital world and connect to a real-life farming adventure. \nParticipants can expect to learn how to plan a garden at home using the grid method\, practice sowing seeds\, and tour a real farm. On this adventure\, our heroes will meet farmers\, feed chickens\, and help plant a vegetable garden bed. \nThis program is best intended for ages 10-14 and is a drop-off\,f optional program. Students are asked to bring a bagged lunch and dress appropriate for the weather as there are both indoor and outdoor portions to the workshop. \n  \n\n1.
