About I Love My Parks Day
Bayard Cutting Arboretum invites you to join us for this year’s ‘I Love My Parks Day ’. Our project this year will be removing invasive species and spreading mulch around the base of our historic Oak and Beech trees. The event will be held in light rain or winds and canceled in severe weather. A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 AM at the Visitor Center located in the main parking lot and projects will begin at 10:00 AM. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
Volunteers Dress Code
- Must wear closed-toe shoes.
- Long pants are recommended.
- Raingear/protection is not provided in case of inclement weather.
- We will provide work gloves but we recommended to bring a pair of your own.
- Dress appropriately for the weather and temperature.
