About I Love My Park Day

Bayard Cutting Arboretum invites you to join us for this year’s ‘I Love My Parks Day’. Our project this year will be removing invasive species and spreading mulch around the base of our historic Oak and Beech trees.

The event will be held in light rain or winds and canceled in severe weather. A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 AM, and projects will begin at 10:00 AM. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.

Volunteers Dress Code

• Must wear closed-toe shoes.
• Long pants are recommended.
• Raingear/protection is not provided in case of inclement weather.
• We will provide work gloves; you may bring your own pair if you would like to.
• Dress appropriately for the weather and temperature.
