Evenings at the Arboretum

 

A Summer Series of Evening Grounds Tours led by Arboretum Horticulture and Volunteer Grounds Docents

Evening Grounds Tours of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum offer a serene experience, allowing visitors to explore a variety of gardens that include historic trees and architectural features, as the setting sun transforms the landscape.  These tours will highlight specific areas where guests will learn from Arboretum professionals and Grounds Docents. Featuring local beer, wine, botanical mocktails, appetizers, artists, and musicians for a happy hour after each tour. Cost $85 per person

 Arboretum Grounds Tours

The tours run approximately 45-60 minutes and cost $5.00/person. Online reservations are strongly recommended.

Tours of the Manor House are offered seasonally and provide a guided experience of the first and second floors within the home. House tours are generally available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11:00 AM. For a limited time, afternoon tours of the Manor House will be offered on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1:00 PM. The tours run approximately 60-75 minutes and cost $15.00/person. Online reservations are strongly recommended.

Private Arboretum Grounds & House Tours

Private House & Grounds tours can be scheduled for groups with a minimum of 10 individuals. A private tour of the manor house is $20.00/person, and a private tour of the grounds is $10.00/person. Advanced registration of at least 2 weeks is required. If you would like to schedule a private tour, please send an inquiry to Stefanie D’Erasmo at the following email address: Stefanie.derasmo@parks.ny.gov or call (631) 481-3520. Private Tours are often made in conjunction with a reservation for a Victorian Tea at the Hidden Oak Cafe, which can be reached by calling (631) 277-3895.
