Situated on 15 acres of natural wetland with natural spring-fed streams and ponds, enjoy surprise views of the Connetquot River. Keep an eye out for ducks, turtles, and migrating birds. During the Cutting’s time, this garden was comprised of rhododendron, native ferns, moss paths and spring flowering bulbs. Over the years clethera, phragmites and bamboo come to dominate. In 2014 a major renovation of the garden removed invasive plants, replacing them with four-plus acres of native and exotic woodland and shade tolerant plants.
