About the Workshop

Your iPhone camera is a remarkably powerful creative tool—simple enough for anyone to use, yet capable of producing images with true artistic vision.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to unlock your phone’s creative potential through both a guided lecture and interactive in-field practice. Topics covered include camera setup, essential photography techniques, and exploring basic photo editing all with a specific focus on floral photography.

 

About the Instructor

Anthony Graziano is an award-winning fine art photographer, author, and educator who uses photography to capture the beauty of the natural world.

Golden hour is a unique window of time in which the warm color of the low sun is often considered desirable to enhance the colors of photography. This is also one of the most magical hours here at Bayard Cutting Arboretum!

For these reasons, we invite you to join us for a unique opportunity to practice photography with your smartphone or digital camera before the park is open.

This event is intended for nature photography only. Participants will be given a high amount of freedom to explore the park in pursuit of their perfect moment. Some areas are off-limits, and certain restrictions apply. In the event of extreme weather, a make-up date will be offered.
