Docent-Led Grounds Tour

Enjoy a grounds tour through various areas of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.

Docent’s Choice Grounds Tour – One-hour tour available each Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30 am except for Specialty Tour dates (see below). $5.00 per person.

Private Grounds Tour – Personalized 90-minute docent-led group tour. Dates and times are flexible. $10.00 per person.

Spotlight Tour (On Hiatus) – Docents will spotlight specific, seasonally appropriate areas of the Arboretum in a one-hour grounds tour. Available only on the first Wednesday and first Saturday of each month. $5.00 per person.

Have you seen our newest gardens?

You are invited to join our Director and Grounds Docents for a relaxing evening tour of our most recent outside garden projects. After your tour, relax on the porch and enjoy a glass of wine, and light fare served by the Manor House Servants.

 

This is a special event limited to 25 patrons.

 

Gates will open promptly at 5:15 PM and close at 5:45 PM. The tour starts at 5:30 PM.

Director’s Winter Interest Walk Tour

Kevin Wiecks, Director of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum, will be sharing his horticultural expertise on a winter landscape tour of the arboretum. This 75-minute tour will focus on the unique horticulture and botanicals exclusive to this time of year. Participants will learn to use buds, twigs, and bark to identify different species of trees.

After the tour, participants will gather in the Manor House where they will enjoy warm beverages and reflect on their new knowledge of the winter landscape. Don’t miss this exciting event!

Registration required. Space is limited. The rain date for this event is Sunday, March 26, 2023. Participants will be notified within 24 hours of the event if the rain date is necessary. No refunds if either date is unsuitable for the event.
