CULTURE

As with most firs, Abies pinsapo ‘Glauca’ requires moist, well-drained soils. Plants grow best in full sun to show the blue-green foliage.

NOTEWORTHY CHARACTERISTICS

A 60 foot broadly conical specimen, with rigid 1/2 inch long blue-silver foliage.

PROBLEMS

Not susceptible to pests but it can be difficult to establish.

GARDEN USES

Use as a specimen or in mass plantings as an accent.
