CULTURE
Sargent’s Weeping Hemlock grows best in moist, well-drained, acidic soils. It is best in full sun and sheltered from drying winds.
NOTEWORTHY CHARACTERISTICS
A broad spreading form of Canadian Hemlock, with pendulous branches. Choice specimens in our collection exceed 25 feet in width.
PROBLEMS
Due to our hot, humid summer climate, these plants are susceptible to a number of pest problems including hemlock woolly adelgid.

Used as a specimen or in mass plantings.
